No matter your terminology, Striker Plates, Anvils, or Cut Plates, Sharples can provide you with multiple options for your required plate. As one of the few diemakers that stocks hard plates, stainless steel, and aluminum, Sharples can turnaround a striker plate quickly with a file and a Purchase Order. Our strength is having the multiple capabilities with laser or water-jet cutting various materials to work with master tooling. Sharples mills for pockets in various material to help clear parts. Polypropylene is another unique option for our customers that are looking for prototype cutting surfaces.
We minimize the heat affect zone with our metal cutting capabilities, providing the ability to have a clean-cut pocket, clearing a part close to the striking area. If locating needs to be incorporated into the striker design, Sharples will work with you and/or your mold maker to place ejector pins that align with the appropriate cone locations.
